Bet Aharon
Torah Center
Bet Aharon Torah Center is an authentic Syrian shul in Marine Park, Brooklyn, established by Rabbi Eliyahu Aboud.
A New Chapter
From a basement minyan to a home of our own
In the summer of 2015, the Sephardic Torah Center of Marine Park began as a small basement shul in the home of our Rabbi, Rabbi Eliyahu Chaim Aboud — the only Sephardic minyan in the neighborhood, with fewer than twenty families.
Today, with Hashem's blessing, our kehila numbers well over one hundred families and growing. After years of renting on Quentin Road and East 36th Street, we purchased and moved into our own expansive home across the street — 3609 Quentin Road — with room for more minyanim, more Torah classes in our Bet Midrash, and more space for our kahal's semachot.
The shul carries the name Bet Aharon, dedicated through the extraordinary generosity of our benefactors, Mr. Harry and Alice Adjmi, whose partnership made this home for Torah possible.

In December 2023 we purchased our permanent home — and now the kehila has moved in.
Large-scale renovation and expansion continues, creating a beautiful Torah center for all our congregation's needs: more minyanim, more events, and more space for our kahal's semachot. Dedication opportunities remain available for those who wish to build a lasting legacy in this home of Torah.
