Whether you're spending Shabbat with family in Marine Park, checking out the neighborhood before a move, or simply need a weekday Minchah — here is everything a guest needs to know.
Where we are
The shul is at 3609 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, NY — in the heart of Marine Park, in the building the kehila purchased and renovated as its permanent home. If you knew the shul in its rented years on Quentin Road and East 36th Street: we're directly across the street.
When we daven
The shul davens two Shacharit minyanim daily, with Minchah and Arbit, and a full Shabbat schedule from Friday Minchah through Motzaei Shabbat. Times move with the seasons — the schedule page carries current times and daily zmanim for Marine Park.
What to expect
Tefillah is in the Syrian Sephardic nusach. Guests are welcomed the way this shul has always welcomed people — it was built by families who were new to the neighborhood themselves. Introduce yourself to anyone; you will be seated, handed a siddur, and invited to kiddush before you can finish your first sentence.
Coming for Shabbat
Shabbat morning ends with kiddush, and the afternoon brings Minchah, Seudah Shelishit and the Ladies & Girls Tehillim program. If you're planning a longer stay or have questions ahead of a visit, reach the shul through the contact details on our homepage.
