If you've searched for a Sephardic minyan in Marine Park, the answer is at 3609 Quentin Road. Bet Aharon Torah Center — the Sephardic Torah Center of Marine Park — is the neighborhood's original Sephardic shul, davening in the Syrian tradition with two daily minyanim and a full Shabbat schedule.

What to expect

The nusach. Tefillah follows the Syrian Sephardic tradition — the maqamat and pizmonim of Aleppo as they are sung throughout the community in Brooklyn. If you grew up with them, you will feel at home in the first minute; if you didn't, you will be welcomed warmly and handed a siddur with everything you need.

The minyanim. The shul davens Shacharit in two minyanim, with Minchah and Arbit daily. Times shift with the seasons — check the schedule page for current times and daily zmanim for Marine Park, or call the shul.

Shabbat. Friday night Minchah and Kabbalat Shabbat, Shabbat morning Shacharit followed by kiddush, and Minchah with Seudah Shelishit before Arbit. The weekly printed schedule — a tradition of the shul since its founding — carries the exact times each week.

For newcomers and visitors

The shul was built by families who were once new to Marine Park themselves — welcoming newcomers is in its foundation. Whether you're moving to the neighborhood, visiting family, or just passing through Brooklyn for Shabbat, come daven with us. No membership required to walk through the door.
