There are many ways to give tzedakah. A dedication is something more: it ties a name — your family's, or the memory of someone you love — to every tefillah and every daf learned in a building for as long as it stands.

What can be dedicated

The new building at 3609 Quentin Road offers dedication opportunities at every level:

Pillar dedications — the landmark dedications of the sanctuary, recognized on the shul's pillar plaques.

Benefactor plaques — permanent recognition among the builders of the shul's new home.

The Bet Midrash — bookcases, tables and chairs, each carrying a dedication plate. These are the most personal dedications in the building: the actual furniture of Torah learning, used nightly by the Kollel and daily by the kehila.

Dedications of time

Beyond the building itself, the shul's calendar offers living dedications: sponsor a Shabbat morning kiddush, a Seuda Shelishit, an Oneg Shabbat, a session of Avot uBanim, or the Rabbi's Wednesday night class — each can be given in honor or in memory of a loved one, announced to the kehila that week.

How to begin

Browse the dedication renderings in our gallery, or start a gift on the donations page — every gift can carry a dedication. For pillar and plaque dedications in the new building, speak with the shul directly and we will walk you through what remains available.
